Products

We at Vintage Glass Studio pride ourselves in the quality of our products backed up with an equally top quality level of service. We are a husband and wife team with complementary skills. Elaine produces the creative designs and the colours/textures to be used whilst Ian turns those designs into beautiful, quality products to meet (and more often than not, exceed) the customers expectations. We are unique in providing a service which is totally customer focused. We like to exceed customer expectations and this is why much of our work comes from customer referrals.

• We always take a brief directly from the customer by visiting their premises. We bring with us samples of our work and references from satisfied customers. We also bring with us a range of over 100 samples of stained glass from which you can choose. This is free of charge or obligation
• We provide, if required, several small scale designs for customer approval. Again, this is conducted on the customers premises. This is also free of charge or obligation.
• Only at the approval of the final design, do we ask for a 25% deposit in order to purchase the necessary materials.
• Once we have the deposit, we will provide a  full scale drawing of the final design for approval by the customer.
• We produce the stained glass panel and install it so no one else need be involved.
• Once installed and subject to the customers being pleased with the work, we then ask for the 75% balance to be paid.
• This entire process should take no more than 4 weeks and if it likely to take longer we will provide a delivery schedule.
• We will always stick to the quoted price and have never asked for an increase even if it has taken longer than expected or raw material prices have increased. Our word is our bond.

You will find that few of our competitors get anyway close to the above terms and conditions of trading. Many ask for written briefs from the clients backed up with photographs. Others do not have a design service and only work from a limited range of designs. Some competitors have a very limited choice of glass and particularly colours. Finally, we are very competitive and do not like to lose jobs purely on price.

If you find a competitor who will provide a written like-for-like quote cheaper than us.

 We will match it rather than lose it !!

Exterior Products

We produce a wide range of exterior products ranging from small panels to fit a front door to large picture windows.  These can be a like-for-like single glazed replacement or triple glazed (eco-friendly) panels to be fitted to doors/windows. We also provide a repair service for damaged panels and with the widest range of glass samples we feel confident that we can provide the best colour and texture match for the broken glass. Again, we apply the same trading terms as with new panels and won't be beaten on price.

Interior Products

We are expanding our range of interior products to not just include leaded stained glass panels but also incorporate 'glass applique' products. Most interior uses for stained glass panels are to provide light and privacy to rooms as well as  being used as screens to divide rooms. Stained glass is also of course, used a lot in light fittings such as the 'Tiffany Style' lamps.  Indeed, stained glass can be used to good effect in every room in the house.  We have often fitted stained glass panels to hang in the window recess so that anyone can appreciate the benefits of stained glass but when they move they simply take it with them. Products for Sale

We will be producing some products which we will sell directly from this site as well as a small range of tools which can be bought to enable anyone to produce their own stained glass panels.  The range will be subject to regular change and also of course availability issues.  To view the range of products please click the relevant box at the top of this page.
